Adobe Dreamweaver is a web development tool that fits the needs of both designers and developers. It provides programming features for PHP, ASP, ASP.net, Java and more.

Adobe Dreamweaver provides a full featured WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that allows users who don't know HTML to create and maintain web sites.

Adobe Dreamweaver was originally created by Macromedia, it is now developed by Adobe Systems. Adobe Systems acquired Macromedia in 2005.

Older versions of Dreamweaver have improved support for web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and other server-side scripting languages like ASP, ColdFusion, and PHP.

Dreamweaver also allows use of third party applications which extends its core functionality.

Dreamweaver is also supported by a large community of extension developers who make extensions available for most web development tasks.
